This book is the result of a deep dive into the Parable of the Talents. The study of this parable has made a profound change in the way I see my relationship with Christ. That understanding compelled me to share what I discovered with you.
The questions it created motivated me to seek a greater understanding of the parable. My hope is not to convince you that you have been wrong. Rather, I hope these questions encourage you to examine the Scriptures more deeply, just as they encouraged me.

But the deeper I went into the parable, the more I began to see that none of these things were the Master's ultimate concern.
The Master entrusted His possessions to His slaves. He gave each of them an extraordinary opportunity. Then He went away.
When He returned, He did not simply examine what they had produced. Their response revealed their hearts.
It Was Never About the Talent.
What each man did with what had been entrusted to him revealed what he believed about the Master.
Was the story about relationship all along?
The Talent revealed the servant.
